The Download Store

Go to the download store right now if you like but you may want to read the info below first.

Getting to the download store

You can reach the download store from any of the artist pages - specifically jumping directly to the downloads page for the artist whose page your may be visiting. You will see a link like the one below on every artist's page that will take you to that artist's downloads.

Navigating the download store

You can also reach the home page of the download store by going to www.ItsAboutMusic.net. Once there, you'll find music genres to select from and then a list of artists under that genre - just click on the artist image and you'll find their downloads page. You'll also find a list of all artists on the left side of the web pages - in alpha order by first name or the band name. These links will also take you to the artist's download page.

Playing music in the download store

Once you arrive at the download pages for any artist, you'll see that there are small flashing speaker graphics next to each song that look like this - These links will play 2 minute samples of the adjacent songs.

Making a purchase in the download store

If you'd like to purchase a track or a full album, just click on the "Buy Now" link and that track or album will be placed in your shopping cart where it will remain until you decide to check out and finalize your purchases using a credit card - either Visa or Master Card or Discover. We don't accept American Express or Pay Pal - sorry. Then just click on Continue Shopping and you'll go back to the page you came from or you can go to the shopping cart to finish your transaction. Once in the shopping cart you will be able to edit your transaction, remove items, etc.

You will be asked to login using your email address and password of your choice. We don't keep your credit card info on file but we do keep your email address and password so that you can access your downloads again in the future. You will always have three opportunities to download your files - so if you need to return at any time to get your files again, you can.

Regarding full album downloads. These downloads are actually zipped file collections of the tracks from that particular album and they will be downloaded as one file - but will separate into the various tracks once you double click on the file folder after it's on your hard drive.

Once your transaction has been processed you will arrive at the Download Page where you will see links to download your files. These links look like this:

There are two ways to download your files from the links above. One way is to click on the blue Download button at which point an interface will appear that will ask you if you want to open or save the file. Choose Save and then place the file in a folder on your hard drive. The other way to download your files is to right click (control click on a Mac) on the file name above the blue download button, choose "Save target as" and place the file in a folder on your hard drive. Should you have any problems with this process, please let us know and we'll take care of you immediately.

Pricing at the download store

You will notice that albums are priced in such a way as to reflect the number of tracks on that album. If the price of a download is $.99 then an album containing ten songs will be $9.90. However, no album is priced higher than $12.99 for download including double album sets.

We certainly hope you enjoy our new store and find the experience rewarding. Should you have any difficulties whatsoever, please contact us so that we can correct any and all problems. Thanks for your support of independent artists. It is truly appreciated.
